# enkly UI redesign (gateway web)
|

|
|
Touched: `web/static/css/style.css` (rewritten), `web/static/js/app.js` (additions at the end),
|
|
`web/templates/index.html`, `web/templates/tree.html` (status bar). All other templates and every
|
|
Go handler are unchanged; class names used by Go-rendered fragments (tool cards, thinking, deliverables,
|
|
attachments, tree, auth, billing) are preserved.
|
|
|
|
## Design moves (from the reference screenshot)
|
|
- Glowing command bar -> top-bar search that opens a command palette (Cmd/Ctrl+K): chats + quick actions.
|
|
- Glow-ring composer with "+" and a pill send button ("Ask") -> composer is the single luminous element.
|
|
- Recipe cards -> "Start with" starter cards (click fills or sends a prompt).
|
|
- "Ingredients you have" -> "What enkly can use" tool chips; Explorer is now a glass panel.
|
|
- "More to explore" -> dashed prompt chips that fill the composer.
|
|
- Source cards -> agent tool steps with a per-kind coloured icon (read / write / search / run / plan / sub-agent).
|
|
- Context usage in the status bar is now a meter (amber at 70%, red at 90%).
|
|
|
|
## Constraints respected
|
|
System fonts only, no inline scripts, no CDN, no new endpoints (CSP: script-src 'self').
|
|
Light and dark themes both supported; reduced-motion respected; visible focus rings.
|
